“I had a marvelous time ruining everything…” – Taylor Swift, The Last Great American Dynasty
2020 has been a year of transitions and unexpected changes for all of us, so when Madison asked if we could do a shoot for this new era in her life, I was more than thrilled. While she’s closing an amazing chapter, I know that her new ventures will be incredible in their own right.
Madison and I have been friends for almost a decade now. One of the things we have always bonded over is our mutual love for the one lord and savior Taylor Swift. So when she showed up to our photo shoot with the classic red lip and a sequined blazer, I instantly felt like Ms. Swift was with us. It is also worth noting that I edited this entire shoot with the Long Pond Session recording of Folklore on repeat.
The quote from Last Great American Dynasty kept coming to mind as I was working through Madison’s photos. Taylor is a powerful woman with so much talent and also so much variety in what she has to offer. So is Madison. They both are magnetic and mischievous and I love having both of them to look up to.
Madison, thank you so much for trusting me with helping to kick-start this next chapter of your life. I can’t wait to see you grow and cheer you on as it all happens. Since this post started with a Tay quote, here’s one to finish it.
