Couples Photo Shoot Session at Longwood Gardens
“Oh man, I actually have to touch her?” Michael laughed at his own joke as he wrapped his arms around Zaina’s waist and pulled her in tight. He had been up to similar antics throughout their couples photo shoot session at Longwood Gardens.
“Michael!” She smacked his arm playfully and rolled her eyes at me with a good-natured smile. Yet again, I found myself giggling as I stepped back and tried to keep a straight face.
As other visitors would walk by, we could hear them make comments about what a beautiful and sweet couple. Which, of course, they are. But, also, if those passersby could only hear the sarcastic commentary and playful teasing that started right back up once they were out of earshot.
Zaina is the stylish scientist (and all around ray of sunshine) behind The Chic Chemist and we had worked together about a year ago to shoot her winter capsule collection. (Check it out here!) However, this was my first time meeting her boyfriend Michael, and shooting them as a couple. But Michael came prepared with his lucky Navy football cap (see below) and endless supply of sarcastic comments, and I immediately felt like I was welcomed into their playful and fun dynamic as we crisscrossed the paths at Longwood Gardens.
Michael and Z, thank you so much for making me laugh and also warming my heart with the easy way you switch from sarcasm to snuggling. With so much high-energy banter and teasing, everyone you two meet must be just as charmed and delighted as I was.
