Downtown with Fashion Blogger Confidently Carina
As with most things in my professional life, the chance to work with Carina from Confidently Carina started with Olivia from The Olivia Phillips.
Olivia is a petite plus sized fashion blogger located in a small town in North Carolina. But, don’t let her small town address fool you, she has so many fashion blogging friends ranging far and wide. If you follow Olivia’s content then you already know that her absolute bestie is Carina. Carina is a midsize blogger living outside of Boston and we had virtually met through Olivia for almost a year before scheduling lined up to make a session possible.
Carina chose a small downtown setting a little bit outside of Boston and we had so much fun exploring. The great thing about small towns is that they tend to have a new background or potential photo location around every corner. As you can see below, we went from traditional store fronts to a little waterfront area to the always classic brick wall.
One of the things that I love the most about Carina is that she is my soul sister in wanting to get things done efficiently and effectively. While Carina is a successful blogger, she also has a little daughter and is fiercely protective of her time with her. Batch shooting content (like we did at our session) ensures that she is able to both serve her audience and put her phone away for family time.
