Couples Holiday Session at Greystone Hall
“Well, you know I was originally thinking hazmat suits,” Cailin said to me as she adjusted her Christmas themed face mask. “But with everything going on, they’re actually pretty hard to come by. So we decided to go ultra-Christmas,” she shrugged with a glint in her eye.
‘Ultra-Christmas’ is an underestimation for the amount of holiday spirit that her and her fiance Daniel brought to the shoot. From their holiday themed face masks to his ugly sweater and her snowman dress, there was no question that they were ready for a Holiday Card shoot like no other.
I’ve known Cailin for almost fifteen years, so her proclivity for the mischievous and dramatic doesn’t faze me anymore. It has actually become even more commonplace since I started doing photo shoots for her and Daniel. The weirder the better when it comes to their Holiday card, and I am always thrilled to giggle along with them as we make some magic.
Daniel, thank you for always being a good sport when it comes to photo shoots that are more like playtime for me and Cailin. Cay, thank you for always trusting with me to capture your strange, beautiful visions. I love knowing that every year I get to play a small part in you bringing joy to mailboxes of those that you love.
