Content Creator Photography Session – On the Water in Havre de Grace, MD
If there’s one thing to know about Darby (from Darby’s Diamonds), it is that she loves the water. Raised in Annapolis, MD, this girl has the bay in her blood and that makes every shoot with her feel like a nautical retreat, even if we don’t always get the water in the background. (We had to forgo it for our Holiday shoot last year, but maybe we will dream bigger this year.)
Previous shoot locations have included St. Michael’s, MD and the Tidal Basin in Washington D.C. This time we opted for Havre de Grace, MD, another Maryland location on the water, although this one is farther North than our usual spots.
One of my favorite things about Darby is that she is the same sweet, funny, and charming girl next door in real life as she is online. Ask her about living by the water, cute shoes for girls 12+ shoe sizes, or (my personal favorite) Disney and this girl lights up. Don’t let her fool you, either. She may come across as quiet and only give you a small smile, but she’s got a full smile in there. At least 50% of our shoots consist of me (lovingly) yelling at her to actual smile instead of trying to pass off a half smile.
